Immunology experts participate in Reddit Ask Me Anything

The team from Manchester received more than 500 questions about their research into COVID-19 and how the virus behaves.

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, immunology experts at Manchester have been researching how the virus behaves in order to develop better diagnostics, treatments and vaccines. 

In December 2020, three University researchers – Professors Tracy Hussell, Sheena Cruickshank and Dr John Grainger – took to Reddit, the massive online community featuring thousands of discussions on wide-ranging topics, to host an Ask Me Anything (AMA) on COVID-19 and immunology.  

At the time of writing, the AMA had received more than 500 questions on everything from the COVID-19 vaccine to the chances of catching the virus more than once.
