Event description
Applications to be part of the University’s bicentenary festival, Universally Manchester, are open until 22 March 2024.
The festival is open to contributions of all types, including in-person, online or in a hybrid format. You might, for example, wish to give a talk or presentation, host an open lab, run an information stand or put on an immersive event.
If you’d like to get involved but are unsure how to make your idea a reality, or how to align your activity with our themes, these bookable sessions with our public engagement and social responsibility teams are here to provide support.
This is the second of two sessions; the first is taking place on:
- Tuesday, 5 March 2024, 1pm to 4pm in Engineering Building A
During your one-to-one session you will have an opportunity to gain support and advice from a public engagement specialist. You will be provided with resources and guidance for you to successfully complete the application process ahead of the 22 March deadline (if you haven’t already done so).
We are encouraging everyone to attend advice sessions in person. However, should this not be possible, please be assured there will be opportunity to specify that you require an online session when you receive your email booking confirmation.
How to book
To book a slot with a public engagement specialist, please complete this short form before Friday, 1 March.
If you’re unable to attend any of the dates and time, FAQs are available on our call for contributors to the festival page. For any further information or assistance, contact us on bicentenary@manchester.ac.uk.
